Now if you just the realm of line-of-business applications, there are so many options of technologies that it will make your head spin. So many that in fact, it may be hard to stay abreast of all of them.
You may be led to believe that you should keep up with all of them.
Well. I’m here to tell you that not only can you not keep up with all of them but you shouldn’t even try.
You’re either eager to move on to the next level, eager to start your professional career, or eager to make a mark on your organization.

And third, go after it.
As a professional developer, you will be required to spend time beyond just your work hours to be successful. So… you might as well make it a focused and planned effort.
Here are 5 ways you can do just that
Attend a professional conference. This is probably one of the most expensive of the options but it is also one of the best to demonstrate what are the trending technologies of the moment. And while it is not necessarily advisable to implement the latest things you learn in these conferences in your organization, it is good to know what is available to create your target list. If you don’t already listen to podcasts, you may be missing out. I must admit that listening to podcasts does take time. But… also you can listen while you drive or while you do chores or even work out. Podcasts are a great resource for learning about new trends.
